Catherine Andre is an award-winning director who makes dark, funny love stories with fiery female protagonists. Catherine recently graduated from the American Film Institute as a directing fellow and is also an alumna of Princeton University, the Fulbright Scholar Program, Interlochen Arts Academy, FAMU International, and the Drama League.
Before AFI, Catherine worked as a theater director in New York City and then spent five years directing Shakespeare plays and short films around Europe while assisting distinguished auteur directors. In 2024, her AFI thesis film won Amazon's Innovative Storytelling Grant.
