Aiham AlSubaihi (born March 18, 1989) is an Emirati Film Director, Producer and Assistant Director based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. His multidisciplinary filmmaking experience stretches out to more than 6 years with projects falling under various mediums such as film, television, commercials, music videos and more.
After receiving a Bachelor of Creative Media from University of Southern Queensland, Australia in 2015, he then joined the One Year Intensive Filmmaking Diploma from New York Film Academy, Abu Dhabi helping him further his filmmaking skills.
Apart from his latest film "Forthcoming" which he Directed, Wrote and Produced, he is also the Director of recent projects such as Iftah Ya Simsim (Arabic Sesame Street) as well as FUNN, a television show to be aired on Majid Television in September 2019.
His works also fall under the Assistant Director/Co-Producer of the Emirati Feature Film "Musk" scheduled to be released in theaters around the gulf at the end of 2019.
Assuming the role of Directing Mentor at various workshops including AFS Young Filmmakers at the New York University Abu Dhabi and Sharjah Youth Foundation, Aiham continues to pass on the knowledge of his filmmaking career to the youth, helping creating a future for film in the region.
Aside from Production, Aiham also takes part in acting and has appeared in several Feature Hollywood films such as Star Trek Beyond (uncredited) and Six Underground. He can also be found in commercials in the Middle East including Wavo and Dragonmart
